We took Siobhán to the Brandywine Strawberry Festival with my mom for some fun.

We took Siobhán to the Jersey Shore for the first time over the Memorial Day weekend, and stayed with my cousin Bob at his place in North Wildwood. We took Siobhán up on the boardwalk and on some of the rides, which she really enjoyed. We also took a trip up to Avalon to see Bridget’s Uncle Paul and Aunt Ann, and went down to Cape May for the day as well.

Bridget, her mom, Siobhán and I were honored to be invited this year to Father Charlie’s dinner for my cousin Bob.

We took Siobhán to Sugartown Day along with Vanessa, Madeline and Ben. Sugartown is an interesting historic crossroads village, and they had all kinds of events for the day.

Siobhán was all dressed up and so cute for her first Easter. We took her to church in the morning, and took some pictures of her in her Easter dress when we got back home.

Yesterday we celebrated Siobhán’s 6th Month Birthday!  We also took her in for her checkup to see Dr. Giacobbe at Advocare in West Goshen.  She just loves her doctor because she is so friendly, and so do we… she is very good and spends plenty of time during the checkup (almost an hour).

Here are her stats for the checkup:  Her lenght is 25 1/4 inches, which is in the 25-50 percentile.  Her weight is 15 pounds, 10 ounces, which is almost in the 50th percentile.  And she has a big head (since she is so smart!)  It is 16 3/4 inches, which is in the 50-75 percentile.

Our wee little one, Siobhán, would like to wish everyone a very happy St. Patrick’s Day!

We had to put Mia down this week. She has had an overactive thyroid since we got her, and we had treated her with medication for it. Unfortunately over the last few weeks she slowly stopped eating and lost a lot of weight.

We’ll miss you Mia!  She was such a wonderful loving kitty cat.

We went to the Philadelphia Flower Show again this year, the theme this year was Italy.  We took Siobhán along with us, who enjoyed her first ride on the train into the city, and really enjoyed all of the flowers and people at the show.
