Bridget and I wanted to let everyone (that doesn’t already know) that she is expecting! As of today, she is 15 weeks along, and our due date is set at October 4th, 2008.
Today we went in for an ultrasound. Here are some of the pictures that we got:
Everything looks great so far. The baby’s heartrate was 150 bpm, although it’s been all over the map within the normal range. The baby was very active moving his or her arms and legs.
The baby was also nice enough to give us a good look at his or her spine, and that looks good as far as the doctor could tell. We will go back again in 6 weeks for another closer look.

I knew it! I don’t know how I knew it, but I had a feeling. I said to myself last night “Self, you should go look at that blog that Bridget’s husband has.” Congratulations! I’ll be keeping you in my prayers.
Hi Kelly! Thanks so much, yes we are very excited! Yeah the pictures are neat, but I’m glad I was able to see the bah in person at this ultrasound, since it’s so much cuter when they are moving around and waving their arms and legs.

Thanks Jenn! Yes he/she is very active… I just hope they aren’t quite that active at night after they are born! We can’t wait either, right now it seems like each week is going by so slowly just waiting… but I’m sure we’ll be busy at the end and things will go by quicker.
Yeah! Now we can do the happy dance in front of everyone!!! We are all so happy for you guys and can not wait to meet baby K!
