While on our vacation in Palm Beach, we took a trip to Lion Country Safari. It is like Great Adventure where you drive through the zoo and can see the animals up close. Managed to get some really great pictures there!

We had some unusual visitors stop by and hang out on our deck. Take a look at these 2 huge turkey vultures that decided to call our place home for a few days!

We took Siobhan and Fionn over to Adventure Aquarium to meet up with Jenn and Madeline. This was the first time we took Siobhan here, and she really enjoyed seeing all of the fishes and other animals.

All of those birds that have been nesting on our front porch have been very busy, they all have cute little babies to take care of now. Here are some new pictures of the little critters:

With the warmer spring like weather here, the birds around our house have been very active. Right now I have 4 nests on our front porch just outside of my office window. There is one larger one that built a nest on top of a support column, and a few smaller ones that are hidden between the shutters and brick. They hang out all day long, on the windows and in the front tree. I just love being able to watch them during the day.
Here are some pictures that I got of them today

We went to the Philadelphia Flower Show again this year, the theme this year was Italy. We took Siobhán along with us, who enjoyed her first ride on the train into the city, and really enjoyed all of the flowers and people at the show.
Here are some pictures of our little angel:
Barbie King’s display at the entrance this year was very impressive, as it always is:
And there were plenty of other beautiful flowers to see as well:
You can see all of the pictures here, or view a slideshow here.

Bridget and I met up with Jen, Steve and Madeline today at Chanticleer Gardens in Wayne. The gardens there are beautiful… just as nice as Longwood Gardens, but on a smaller scale. And it wasn’t too crowded which was nice as well. A storm rolled in after we were there for a bit, but I managed to get lots of good pictures before that.
I got plenty of great pictures of the Madeline:
And I got a few pictures of some pretty flowers too:

I saw one of our bunnies in the neighbor’s yard a couple of days ago. I was able to get some pictures of it before it hopped into the brush in the back yard.

I went to the Philadelphia Zoo on Sunday with Mike Hagan and the Delaware County Photography Group. The weather was predicted to be thunderstorms all day, but luckily it was a mix of mostly clouds with some sun for most of the day. We didn’t get hit with any rain until about 1:30, when we were on the last few animals for the day anyway.
I got plenty of pictures (actually I took over 800 in all, but just posted the best 77 of those that I liked the most). Here are some of the highlights. You can see all of the best pictures here.
