Dam and Nikon Cafe BBQ"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bridget and I joined up with some online freinds from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nikoncafe.com\/\">Nikon Cafe<\/a> site on Saturday.\u00c2\u00a0 We went to <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Conowingo_Dam\">Conowingo Dam<\/a>, which is where US Route 1 crosses over the Susquehanna River,\u00c2\u00a0just north of the beginning of the\u00c2\u00a0Chesapeake Bay.\u00c2\u00a0 Afterwards, we had a BBQ and Portrait photo session.\u00c2\u00a0 The day was a bit cold and overcast, but we had a good time anyway.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some pictures of the dam&#8230; those fishermen were crazy, it was 50 degrees out, and I imagine the water was even colder:<\/p>\n<a height=\"100\" title=\"DSC_9987\" \/><\/a>\n<p>The dam is a great place for bird watching, and this time of the year there are many Eagles to see.\u00c2\u00a0 We were kind of hoping to see an Eagle poop on a Cowboy&#8217;s head,\u00c2\u00a0but alas we missed that shot!<\/p>\n<p>They were very active, as you can see:<\/p>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thekellehers.com\/index.php\/wpg2?g2_itemId=60858&amp;g2_GALLERYSID=TMP_SESSION_ID_DI_NOISSES_PMT\"><\/a><a
