The Great Pumpkin Carve

Bridget, Siobhán and I joined Jenn, Steve and Madeline at the Chadds Ford Great Pumpkin Carve.  It was pretty nice night for it, and we saw hundreds of large 200+ pound pumpkins all very carefully and artfully carved and decorated.  The talent of the pumpkin artists was very impressive, as you can see from the pictures.  The only downside is that the event was packed, they get over 10,000 people.

Here are some pictures of the little Pumpkins:

Highland Orchards

Bridget, Siobhán and I went to Highland Orchards today.  It was packed as it always is this time of year, especially with the beautiful weather today.  Lots of families where out having fun.

And of course we’re on a mission called “Where in the World is Siobhán Fiona?”.  We are taking pictures of our little one all over the place! Can you guess where she’ll be next week?

RotorFest 2008 at the American Helicopter Museum

Bridget, Siobhán and I went to RotorFest 2008 at the American Helicopter Museum this weekend.  It is an airshow dedicated to helicopters, right in West Chester at the airport and museum.  It was a fun event, since it was really neat to see the helicopters up close and in action, and it wasn’t too crowded at all.  The only downside is we didn’t get to see any military helicopters in action this year.

We saw many different models of helicopters on the ground:

And a few more in action in the air:

We also saw the US Army Black Daggers perform a HALO jump:

And of course miss Siobhán enjoyed the show and getting behind the stick in a UH-60 Black Hawk
