The Kelleher Family Blog: Chris, Bridget and Siobhán Kelleher from West Chester, PA
From the category archives:
Yesterday, Bridget, her mom, Siobhán and I all went to Mike and Stacey McGinley’s for Christmas.
Everyone had a great time, and we all got another unexpected gift: The Eagles made it to the playoffs, and got to pound on the Cowboys at the same time!
Here are some of the pictures that I took:

After a morning of opening up our presents at home, we stopped by my mom’s cousin Bob Degnan’s house for a bit to visit and so he could see Siobhán. Here are some pictures:

Even though Siobhán doesn’t know what Christmas is yet, we still enjoyed our first Christmas morning with our favorite gift!
Here are some pictures of our little cuttie:

After our visit at the DiQuattro’s on Christmas Eve, we stopped by the Hutchinson’s so that we could give Carly and Eric their gifts. The Lionel train set we gave to Eric was a big hit, as you can see:

Here are a few more pictures of Siobhán from today, including some in our Eagles gear. We were cheering for them, even though the offense wasn’t playing well and they lost the game.
And some more taken after the game at dinner time:

As you can see in the post below, we put a lot of effort into this year’s card, even though the picture we ended up using was a pretty simple snapshot… at least compared to some of the other ideas we tried.
Here’s our completed Christmas Card for 2008:
Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and have a great Holiday Season from The Kelleher Family!

Bridget and I spend a lot of time each year with our Christmas Cards. Many people will remember the 12 months of Halley and Ben pictures that we had last year on our card.
This year was no exception. First we tried to get a shot of Siobhán in a sleigh with Halley and Ben as “reindeer” pulling her along. It was a very cute idea, but as they say, never try to work with children or animals, and especially not both children AND animals! Here are some of the pictures we got:
Next we tried some of just Siobhán by the fireplace. The first idea was with her inside of a giant stocking that we had, but holding it up was a problem since Bridget and mom had to hold it (and her) up, and our little angel didn’t enjoy it as much, as you can see:
Next Daddy had the idea to put her in her bumpo sitter covered with some blankets, and surrounded by snowmen. It turned out pretty cute:
But in the end, it was a quick shot that I took before we started with mommy hold her in her Christmas dress that we decided to use.

Here’s one of Bridget’s baby pictures. Doesn’t she look just like our little miss Siobhán? I certainly think so!
We are going to try and find a baby picture of daddy to scan in for comparison and we will then let people vote for who she looks like the most!

Can you believe that our little angel is already two months old! She is up to 10 pounds even, 22 1/4 inches long and her head 15 1/4.
Here is a new candid pictures that I took:

We had our lovely daugther Siobhán Baptised at St. Agnes Parish in West Chester. Her Godparents are Jenn Karsch and Herb Hutchinson.
My dad was nice enough to take pictures of the service:
And here are some pictures back at our house afterwards:
Thanks to everyone that was there to celebrate with us!

I laugh out loud each time I watch this video clip. Mommy is trying to get Siobhán to smile for the camera… but Siobhán decides to do something else instead!

Our little miss Siobhán had her one month checkup at the doctors. She weights 7 pounds and 10 ounces, which puts her in the 10-25% percentile for weight. Her head is 14 1/4 inches, which puts her in the 25% percentile. She is 21 inches long, which puts her in the 50% percentile for height. And according to her grandmother she is in the 100% percentile in beauty!
