Right after the Christmas holiday, we took Siobhan and Finn over to the Brandywine River Museum. It was a cold and snowy day, but we all had fun. For Christmas, they had a large Lionel train display up, along with a very tall Christmas tree with neat handmade decorations on it.

We enjoyed spending Christmas Day at home watching the kids open up their presents this year. Siobhan was really very excited about opening all of her presents! Fionn didn’t really get the concept as well, but did enjoy his new Rody bouncy horse very much!
Unfortunately both of them were a little sick and had runny noses, as you’ll see in the pictures.

We joined Madeline, Jenn & Steve for a ride on the West Chester Rail Road‘s Christmas Train.
Here are some pictures from our adventures:
Siobhan and Fionn enjoyed spending some time with their cousins Cole, Annaliese and John Thomas. We were able to visit with them and have Christmas dinner with my brother Brian, his wife Kate at my Mom and Don’s house.
Here are some pictures of the kids having a fun time playing and opening presents!
We took the kids over the Whiteland Center to for a Sleigh Ride with Santa. Here are some pictures.
While I was able to get some nice pictures of both Siobhan and Fionn by the Christmas tree alone, when we tried to get pictures of both of them we didn’t have much luck. Fionn was crying because he was in a bad mood, and Siobhan wouldn’t stay with him unless we were all singing together (it was “La-La-Lullaby” by the Pajanimals).
Some pictures that I took of Siobhan in front of our Christmas Tree.

O Christmas Tree, how lovely are your branches!
A picture of the Christmas tree for this year, we got a beautiful tree that is up in the living room. I also have the trains setup underneath (I’ll post pictures of that later).
We took Siobhan over to Longwood Gardens on New Year’s eve to see their amazing Christmas display. Here are some pictures:
