Pictures from Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater

Bridget and I had the chance this weekend to visit Fallingwater, an amazing house that was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright as a vacation home for the Kaufmann family.  It was designed to to blend into the landscape, and sits over the Bear Run river and waterfalls.

The house and tour of the inside was very interesting, and we were treated to a beautiful sunny day with all of the fall colors.  Of course I have plenty of pictures:

We also stopped a few places along the way home to take pictures:

And we just had to stop and take a look at the 1,051 pound pumpkin that was on display at the local farmer’s market just before getting back onto the turnpike:

WOW Chris. What a great place to visit! Your photos are incredible. And a little Charles Karult moment with the pumpkin too! Sounds like a nice trip.
